Young Learners (Grade 1)
An introductory robotics program for little minds with big ideas!
Through the use of an age appropriate educational curriculum, young learners will cover the building blocks of programming. Children will program and be introduced to coding with Scratch.
SCRATCHJr | 6 classes | $150 + HST
Students are introduced to ScratchJr, a fun, free tool that uses a drag and drop interface, allowing young learners to build simple animations and video games as they learn programming principles and concepts.
Session 1 January 31 to March 7 | Thursdays 4:00 to 5:00 PM
Session 2 January 31 to March 7 | Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 PM
Junior Robotics | 10 classes | $225 + HST
The junior robotics program covers the building blocks for robotics and programming. Children with build, play, and program robots while experiencing an age appropriate and educational curriculum! In this class, students will learn about Dash and Dot, Ozobots, circuits, and electronics!
Session 1 March 23 to June 8 | Saturdays 10:00 to 11:00 AM
Session 2 March 28 to May 30 | Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 PM
