VIRTUAL MINECRAFT Building Club (Grades 3-7)

Welcome to our Minecraft Building Club!

In this all-inclusive club, kids will dive into different collaborative Creative and Survival class activities in Minecraft’s Java Edition! During this 8-week workshop, students will practice teamwork, social skills, hand-eye coordination, and communication, amongst other soft skills. The class is guided and moderated by our Minecraft instructor on our private Cube School server. Students must have their own Minecraft Java Edition license in order to participate in these workshops (see Equipment Requirements below for more details).

Please Note: Students on the spectrum are welcome to attend our Minecraft Building Club! A parent or guardian must be nearby and available during activity time.

Your home! These workshops are being run virtually!


REQUIRED SETUP

  • A computer or laptop (PC, Mac, or Linux)

    • Note: Chromebooks are not compatible with Minecraft.

  • A second monitor or large screen (to view Zoom)

  • A microphone and headphones/earbuds

  • A reliable internet connection

  • A mouse (with easy-to-use, left and right click buttons – not a track pad)

  • A webcam (optional, but highly recommended!)

  • Minecraft Java Edition account

REQUIRED SOFTWARE

We will not be providing Minecraft accounts as these accounts cannot be shared.

Students will require their own personal Minecraft Java Edition account! If you need to buy the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can purchase it online here.
