Photoshop filter and title creation Class

In this Class students learned to modify the look their movie titles using filters,

we used the liquify effect filter applied it to our font and titles. Using masks, filters and layer composition.

Painting Effect - Title Exercise

Step 1: Duplicate The Background Layer. (Select a landscape with colour)

Step 2: Add a plain colour layer under the landscape layer

Step 3: Write your desired title (Use type tool) / Convert this layer to a smart object

Step 4: arrange layers: at the top: Landscape layer or background, middle: smart object layer with the title, bottom plan colour layer

Step 5: Select the title layer and make a mask

Step 6: Turn On The Layer Above once the mask is active

Step 7: Apply liquify filter to the title masked layer

Step 8: Use brush to create desired texture on the font

Step 9: Save your image when you reach the desired visual effect.
